I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank for doing something wonderful with one of my pictures, namely featuring the picture of my dearly departed cat, Mika, in one of her journals. For a lot of people the loss of a pet doesn't mean much, especially those that don't have 'em or care for them that much either. But to others... It just hurts. Badly. Mika's been gone for a few years now. We even replaced her with a new ball of fluff called, oddly enough, Micca (notice the subtle change from a 'k' to 'cc' ) so that her brother, thankfully still alive, wouldn't die of loneliness. I love my new cat and all her bull-headed, 'jump on the kitchen table at breakfast to sneak a lap or two of butter before being shooed away by my mom'-attitude, but I'd give almost anything to have the original come to wake me in the morning, spending 10 minutes dozing right besides me purring away like a 18-wheeler.
